“Back Door” Roth IRAs Officially Get Green Light from IRS

The IRS recently published some great news, especially for high income earners, regarding "back-door" Roth IRAs.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with this term, the back-door Roth allows high income earners to bypass the Roth IRA contribution income limits. It works like this: if you are under 70.5 years of age, you can make a nondeductible traditional IRA contribution. For 2018, you can contribute up to $5,500 ($6,500 if you are 50 or over). Your high income is not a problem as there are no income limits on nondeductible traditional IRA contributions. MIS Charity Dinner Raises Over $29,000

As many of you know, Richmond Brothers was honored to be included as a sponsor of the Inaugural MIS Charity Dinner earlier this month. We are excited to announce that the event raised a whopping $29,435! The funds raised will be split between the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Foundation's Patient Immediate Needs Fund and MIS Cares. 

MIS Cares will provide their nearly $15,000 to the community through MIS Cares grant and scholarship programs with the mission to assist and inspire youth within our community. Donations to Henry Ford Allegiance Health will go towards gas...
