Richmond Brothers team is the almond butter to our jelly, the Simon to our Garfunkel, the wind to our wings. Without our team we never could have accomplished all we have today. It has been some time since we publicly thanked each and every one of them for all they have done, so we wanted to take the next few months to showcase our “peeps” and why they are so important to us. With over 12 years under her belt as our Director of First Impressions, Sally has been affectionately known as the face of Richmond Brothers. Come into our doors and you’re welcomed with a friendly smile and even a big hug (if you’d like one, of course). Sally’s main priority is to always make our clients, and really anyone who comes through our front doors, feel at home. In addition, she is tasked with keeping track of the whole firms’ appointment scheduling (a very big task at that) and assisting with service work as needed. 

Sally told us that her favorite thing about working at Richmond Brothers is the people. “Whether it be the staff or our amazing clients, they all have touch my heart in so many different ways. I’m truly blessed and have become a better person because of the relationships that I have formed.”

Sally’s giving and positive attitude surely has touched the lives of many who have come through our doors as well. Whether you’ve had the opportunity to meet Sally or not, we’ve included a few more things about her below to help you get some further insight into the life of Sally.

• Most unusual item in desk drawer – I have 4 different color lip sticks in my desk draw, ready to enhance my smile, as I welcome guests at our front door.  
• Best childhood memory – Our family spending summers camping at my grandparents Mink Ranch/Orchard, in Whitehall Michigan. Swimming in White Lake and Lake Michigan, biking, tennis, hiking, building forts, and playing with the old tractor and ending the amazing days with a campfire. Best memories ever. 
• Hidden talents most people don’t know about – I love to sing…. 
• Silly mistake you made that taught you a lesson – My silly mistake was trimming the wrong pine tree that was on my brother’s property, I thought I wanted the beautiful fragrant fresh pine for my holiday floral arrangements as Christmas Gifts. With saw in hand, I cut 4 or 5 lower branches of this pine tree. To my surprise it revealed a pair of legs and a stern voice that inquired about the reason why I was trimming HIS pine tree? What I learned from my mistake was that you own up to the mishap and send a beautiful holiday arrangement using only the best and freshest pine around and hand deliver to the new neighbor with an apology.
• Favorite Movie & Why – Somewhere in Time, with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour, is my favorite movie. I love the fact that the movie took place at the Grand Hotel at Mackinaw Island.
• Pet peeves – My biggest pet peeve is not being on time!
• Favorite family tradition – My favorite family tradition is spending the entire day together on “Black Friday”, where we visit such places as: Greenfield Village, Henry Ford Museum, Gilmores Antique Car Museum, The Air Zoo, etc. Then after a day of fun, we all retreat back to our home and enjoy the warmth of our fireplace and hot homemade turkey soup from leftover turkey.    

Sally – we are so honored that you have made Richmond Brothers your main stomping ground away from your home. We are ever so grateful to have you in our family and couldn’t have asked for a sweeter woman to manage the front half of our building! You truly have made a large impact for many and certainly brought thousands of smiles over the years. We are looking forward to many more years ahead. An extra thank you to Bob, Liz, Joe, Luke, Logan and your extended family for allowing us to share you with them as well!
