Zero Cost Meetings
We understand that meeting with a financial representative can sometimes be a daunting task, but at the same time, it is a very important step to get on the right financial track for your future. With this in mind, we aim to make it as easy as possible for you to meet with us; one way is by providing meetings which are free of charge.
Richmond Brothers, Inc. (RB) typically holds three initial consultations (free of obligation) with potential clients for both parties to determine whether or not RB is a good fit. The following provides some information about what to expect at each of these three meetings:
Data Form Meeting
As an initial meeting, the Data Form is a way for RB to get to know you better. This meeting covers information about your family, career, investment objectives, goals and needs, etc. A checklist is provided for prospective clients to gather the information to prepare for this consultation. Normal Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Financial Plan Meeting
Based on the information provided to RB during the Data Form meeting, a financial plan analysis is presented at this time. This analysis will not only show how much money is needed to save and invest, the rate of return needed to reach goals and how much insurance is needed (if any), it will also show how to implement a course of action. Normal Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Questions and Recommendations
Like the name implies, RB provides investment recommendations for prospective clients based on the discussed individual needs and goals. Normal Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Once we have decided that we are a good fit for each other, RB holds quarterly conference calls (and/or meetings) with clients. Prior to each meeting, we will send a one-page summary of your accounts: what your initial investment was, how much each investment is worth now and any changes that have taken place since the last time we met. During each of these meetings, we will discuss your life transitions in addition to the market environment. Decisions will be made whether or not any changes should be made to your accounts in order to best reflect your individual needs.
In between scheduled conference calls (as additional research is being conducted), clients may receive further recommendations on their accounts. RB is committed to providing proactive advice to our clients to help keep them financially healthy.
